This year (2011) the History of Dermatology Society will convene in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Windsor Court, 300 Gravier Street. The annual meeting events will all be on Thursday, February 3rd. We will begin with a tour of the Ogden Museum at 10:00 A.M., 925 Camp Street. Following our tour of the Museum, we will proceed to Windsor Court where lunch will be served at 12 noon. After lunch we will start the afternoon seminar. This year’s seminar will begin promptly at 1:30 P.M and end at 5:00 P.M. The annual Banquet and Zakon Lecture will be held at Restaurant August, 301 Tchoupitoulas Street beginning with a cocktail reception at 7:00 P.M. The Samuel J. Zakon lecture will be presented by Professor Gerd Plewig. The evening festivities will be enhanced by the annual Marion B. Sulzberger Toast, the Herman Beerman Toast. And the John T. Crissey Toasts. The Samuel J. Zakon Prize winner will be announced. A block of suites have been reserved at the Windsor Court for those Society members and others who wish to stay there during the meeting. Be sure to mention that you are there for the History of Dermatology Society Meeting. Reservations by attendees must be received on or before January 3, 2011, to receive the group rate. The Run of House rooms are $295.00 per night and a Full Suite is $325 per night. The block is offered from February 2nd through February 7th. Please fill out the registration form and return.
