This is a toast created in 1983 to honor the memory of Marion B. Sulzberger (1895-1983), the leading dermatologist of the 20th century. He trained under Bruno Bloch in Zurich and became chairman at NYU. He brought the patch test to the US and developed the developed the concept of atopic dermatitis.

This is a toast created in 2009 to commemorate John T. Crissey (1925–2009) who was a historian of dermatology, par excellence. He was a renowned teacher at both his alma mater, the University of Buffalo (now SUNY-Buffalo) , and the University of Southern California. For many years, he was the Samuel J. Zakon Contest Chairman.

Poet Laureate
The latest augmentation to the program has been the Poet Laureate. Jerry Litt had participated in several of the earlier meetings in the 1970's. When he returned to the fold in 2001, he asked permission to read a poem, and in nanoseconds, post of Poet Laureate was created.
